How to Draw Spring Flowers
Draw spring flowers in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the daisy middle.
Step 1: The daisy middle
Above the middle of your paper draw a round circle as big as a plum. The face goes on it.
Step 2: Eyes and a smile
Draw 2 big eyes halfway down the circle, a black dot in each. Add a wide U smile under them.
Tip Leave a tiny white speck in each dot for a shine.
Step 3: Four petals
From the circle's top draw a finger petal up and back down to it. Same right, down and left.
Tip Like the 4 points of a compass.
Step 4: Fill the gaps
In each gap draw 2 more petals the same size, from the circle and back to it. 12 petals!
Step 5: Daisy stem and leaves
From the lowest petal draw 2 stem lines, stopping well above the bottom edge. Add a fat leaf each side.
Step 6: Tulip on the left
On the left draw a tulip cup with zigzag tips. From it draw stem lines ending level with the daisy's.
Step 7: Tulip leaves
From the tulip's stem draw a long blade leaf sweeping up to a point, 1 on each side.
Step 8: Little round flower
On the right draw a 5-bump flower round a dot. From it draw stem lines ending level with the daisy's.
Step 9: The ground
Start under the tulip's left leaf and draw a ground line past the little flower. Add 2 grass tufts.
Tip Every stem and grass tuft stands on the line.
Step 10: Pink cheeks, yellow middles
Colour pink cheeks. Colour the daisy's middle and the little flower's dot yellow, around the cheeks. Leave the eyes white.
Step 11: Red tulip, purple flower
Colour the tulip red and the little flower purple, around its yellow dot.
Step 12: Green stems and leaves
Colour every stem and leaf green, then go over your lines. Your spring flowers are done!
