How to Draw a Spice Rack
Draw a spice rack in 13 easy steps, about 10 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the shelf.
Step 1: The shelf
A little below the middle of your paper draw a long flat bar, almost edge to edge, for the shelf.
Step 2: Two jars
On the shelf draw 2 short jars, one left and one middle: straight sides, round shoulders and a short neck.
Step 3: A jar face
On the middle jar draw 2 big egg eyes with black dots, a little U smile and 2 tiny cheeks.
Step 4: A third jar
Draw one more jar the same size on the right, the same gap away, making 3 in a row.
Step 5: The caps
On top of every jar draw a short flat box with rounded corners for the cap, over the neck.
Step 6: Labels
On the 2 jars without a face draw a small box on the front for the label.
Step 7: Rail and feet
Draw a thin rail on 2 tiny posts above the shelf, across the jars. Add a foot under each shelf end.
Step 8: The counter
Draw a long line under the feet from one side of the page to the other for the counter.
Step 9: Cream labels, pink cheeks
Go over your lines, then colour the 2 labels cream and the cheeks pink.
Step 10: Orange jar
Colour the middle jar orange around the pink cheeks. Leave the eyes white.
Step 11: Green herbs
Colour the third jar green for herbs, around the label.
Step 12: Red paprika
Colour the first jar red for paprika, around the label.
Step 13: Grey caps, wood shelf
Colour every cap dark grey, then the shelf, rail and feet wood brown. Your spice rack is done!
