How to Draw a Cup and Ball Toy
Draw a cup and ball toy in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the ball.
Step 1: The ball
Near the bottom on the left of your paper, draw a round ball as big as a plum.
Step 2: Two big eyes
On the ball draw 2 big egg eyes, one eye apart. Add a black dot in each with a shine.
Step 3: Smile and cheeks
Under the eyes draw a U smile from eye to eye. Add a small oval cheek below each eye.
Step 4: The cup
High on the right draw a wide flat oval rim. Under it draw a U bowl from end to end.
Step 5: The handle
Start under the cup. Draw 2 straight lines down, about 2 cups long, and join them at the bottom.
Step 6: The knob
At the bottom of the handle draw a fat oval knob, wider than the handle, as low as the ball.
Step 7: The string
Start on the handle just under the cup. Draw a gently drooping string down to the top of the ball.
Step 8: Ground line
Start near the left edge. Draw a straight ground line under the ball and knob. Stop near the right edge.
Step 9: Sparkles
Draw 3 fat 4-point sparkles in the empty spaces, not touching the toy.
Step 10: Pink cheeks, yellow sparkles
Colour the cheeks pink and the sparkles yellow.
Step 11: Wood cup and handle
Colour the rim tan. Colour the cup, the handle and the knob wood brown, around the rim.
Step 12: Red ball
Colour the ball red, around the eyes and cheeks. Leave the eyes white.
