How to Draw Spaghetti

10 steps · Medium · about 8 min

Draw spaghetti in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.

Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the plate.

Print

  1. Step 1: The plate

Below the middle, draw a big flat oval plate, as wide as your hand.

  2. Step 2: Heap of noodles

On the plate, draw a big hill with 6 soft round bumps on top and a soft round bottom.

  3. Step 3: Meatballs

On the hill, draw 3 round meatballs, one left, one right and one lower, nearer the right.

  4. Step 4: Sauce

Start on the left side of the hill, above the plate. Draw 6 drippy bumps across to the right side.

  5. Step 5: Noodle swirls

Draw 3 little snail-shell swirls, one between the top meatballs and one at each end of the noodles.

  6. Step 6: More noodles

Below the drippy line, draw 3 wavy noodles, one left, one right, and a long one low down.

  7. Step 7: A fork

Standing in the noodles on the right, draw a fork: a long stick with a box and 3 prong lines.

  8. Step 8: Sky plate, grey fork

Colour the plate sky blue and the fork grey.

  9. Step 9: Yellow noodles, red sauce

Colour the noodles yellow, and the sauce above the drippy line red, around the meatballs.

  10. Step 10: Brown meatballs

    Colour the 3 meatballs brown.
