How to Draw a Cauliflower
Draw a cauliflower in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the bumpy head.
Step 1: The bumpy head
In the middle draw a big cloud head: 5 round bumps over the top and a smooth round bottom.
Tip Bumpy on top, smooth underneath.
Step 2: Two big eyes
A little below the middle draw 2 big egg eyes, 1 eye apart. Colour a big black dot in each.
Step 3: Smile and cheeks
Under the eyes draw a wide U smile from eye to eye, and a small flat cheek beside each end.
Step 4: Left leaf
Start at a point past the top left bump. Draw a tall leaf hugging the side. Stop under the head.
Tip The leaf hugs the head like a cupped hand.
Step 5: Right leaf
Do the same on the right: start at a point past the top right bump and stop under the head.
Step 6: A leaf in front
From the left leaf to the right leaf, draw a gentle hill across the head with a U below.
Step 7: Curd bumps
Under the 3 top bumps draw 3 tiny rows of 3 little bumps, well above the eyes.
Step 8: Leaf veins
Draw 1 long curved line down the middle of each tall leaf, from near the tip to near the bottom.
Step 9: The ground
Draw a ground line under the cauliflower from far left to far right, just touching the bottom.
Step 10: Pink cheeks
Go over your lines, then colour the 2 cheeks pink.
Step 11: White head
Colour the head white, going around the pink cheeks and the black dots. Leave the eyes white.
Step 12: Green leaves
Colour the 3 leaves green, veins and all, and your cauliflower is done!
