How to Draw a Space Suit Glove
Draw a space suit glove in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the glove outline.
Step 1: The glove outline
Start low, left of the middle. Draw a puffy glove with 4 fat round fingers, stopping low on the right.
Tip Leave the bottom open. The middle 2 fingers are tallest, all fat and round like an oven mitt.
Step 2: Finger lines
From the 3 dips between the fingers, draw 3 lines down, stopping in the air above the middle.
Step 3: The thumb
Start halfway down the glove's left side. Draw a fat thumb to a round tip, then down to the bottom.
Tip Rub out the old side line inside the thumb.
Step 4: A happy face
On the palm, draw 2 round eyes, a black dot in each, and a small smile below.
Tip The face sits on the puffy palm, well below the finger lines.
Step 5: Wrist ring
Across the glove's open bottom, draw a flat box, a little wider than the wrist, for the ring.
Step 6: Soft sleeve
Under the ring, draw a short soft sleeve with round bottom corners. Draw 2 lines across it, side to side.
Step 7: Stars and the Earth
Draw 4 big stars round the glove. Draw the Earth's curve from the left edge to the bottom edge.
Step 8: Yellow stars
Go over your lines. Leave the glove, eyes and sleeve white, and colour the 4 stars yellow.
Step 9: Pink cheeks, grey ring
Colour 2 pink cheeks beside the smile, then colour the wrist ring grey.
Step 10: Blue stripe and Earth
Colour the stripe on the sleeve blue, and colour the Earth in the corner blue too.
