How to Draw a Blizzard
Draw a blizzard in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the cloud top.
Step 1: The cloud top
Start on the left, middle of your paper. Draw a rainbow of 5 big bumps over to the right.
Step 2: The cloud bottom
Start at the right end. Draw 3 shallow bumps across to the left until you meet the start.
Step 3: Two big eyes
Below the middle of the cloud draw 2 big eggy eyes. Colour a black dot in each, leaving a speck.
Step 4: Smile and cheeks
Under the eyes draw a small U smile. Add an oval cheek out past each end of the smile.
Step 5: Wind curls
Draw 2 wind lines left of the cloud and 1 right. Start a finger away, end in a curl.
Step 6: Big snowflakes
Under the cloud draw 2 snowflakes, 1 left and 1 right: 3 short lines crossing like a star.
Step 7: More snowflakes
Draw 3 more snowflakes the same way: 1 in the middle, lower down, and a small one each side.
Step 8: Snow drift
Near the bottom, start at the left edge. Draw soft bumpy snow hills across to the right edge.
Step 9: Light blue snow
Colour the snow sky blue, right to the edges and the bottom of the paper.
Step 10: Pink cheeks, grey cloud
Colour the cheeks pink, then the cloud grey around the eyes and cheeks. Leave the eyes white.
