How to Draw a South America
Draw a south america in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the top coast.
Step 1: The top coast
Start near the top, a little left. Draw a bumpy line across, then slanting down. Stop right of the middle.
Tip South America is shaped like an ice cream cone: wide at the top, pointed at the bottom.
Step 2: The big bulge
Carry on from there. Curve out right, round a big bulge, then slant down left. Stop at the middle.
Step 3: The pointed tail
Carry on from there. Draw a bumpy line slanting down left. Stop at a point near the bottom.
Step 4: The west coast
Start at the point. Draw a long line up the left side, bending a little. Stop about halfway up.
Step 5: The shoulder
Start where you stopped. Curve up and out to the left, round a bump. Stop where your first line began.
Step 6: The big river
Start where your first 2 lines meet. Draw a wiggly river to the left. Stop inside the land.
Step 7: The mountains
Down the left side, just inside the coast, draw 4 little triangle mountains, one under the other.
Step 8: Blue sea
Go over your lines. Colour the sea light blue, all around the land, out to the edges.
Step 9: Green land
Colour the land green, around the 4 mountains.
Step 10: Brown mountains
Colour the 4 mountains brown. Your map of South America is done!

Your finished drawing
