How to Draw a Crystal
Draw a crystal in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: tall crystal.
Step 1: Tall crystal
In the middle, draw a tall crystal: straight sides and a sharp pointed top, closed along the bottom.
Tip Like a tall box with a pointed roof.
Step 2: Two more crystals
On each side of the tall one, draw a shorter crystal the same way. Make the left one taller.
Step 3: Little crystals
At each outside edge, draw a small crystal the same way, lower than the others.
Step 4: Facet lines
Draw one line down each big crystal from its point to its bottom, off to one side.
Step 5: Rocky base
Start low on the left and draw a rounded rock under the crystals. Stop low on the right.
Step 6: The ground
Draw a long straight ground line under the rock, sticking out a little past each end.
Step 7: Sparkles
Around the crystals, draw 4 little sparkles, each with 4 points.
Step 8: Pink little crystals
Colour the 2 little crystals pink, and the thin face of the tall crystal pink too.
Step 9: Grey rock
Colour the rock grey.
Step 10: Purple crystals
Colour the 3 big crystals purple, around the pink face. Go over your lines, your crystal is done!
