How to Draw a Souffle
Draw a souffle in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the dish.
Step 1: The dish
Below the middle, start on the left. Go straight down, along a curved bottom, straight up. Stop on the right.
Tip A souffle dish is short and wide, with straight sides.
Step 2: The rim
Across the top of the dish draw a smile curve from end to end. Add another just under it.
Step 3: Risen souffle
From the left end of the rim go up, over a soft round top, and down to the right end.
Tip The souffle puffs up tall out of its dish, taller than the dish.
Step 4: The top
Near the top, draw a curve across the souffle from side to side, sagging like a smile.
Step 5: A crack
On the top, near the left edge, draw one short curved line for a crack.
Step 6: Ridges
Draw 7 lines down the dish, from under the rim to the bottom, with even gaps.
Step 7: A plate
Under the dish draw a long flat oval plate, skipping the part behind the dish. Add a second oval inside.
Step 8: The table
Draw a table line under the plate from far left to far right, just touching its bottom.
Step 9: Yellow sides
Go over your lines. Colour the sides of the souffle yellow, from the rim up to the top curve.
Step 10: White dish, sky plate
Leave the dish white and colour the plate sky blue.
Step 11: Golden top
Colour the top above the curve ginger, a golden brown. Your souffle is done!

Your finished drawing
Follow the steps above and this is where you end up: a souffle, drawn by you.
