How to Draw a Heart Donut
Draw a heart donut in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the plate.
Step 1: The plate
In the middle, draw a big round plate, nearly as big as the page.
Tip Everything goes inside the plate, so draw it big.
Step 2: The rim
Inside the plate, draw a second circle a finger in from the edge, for the rim.
Step 3: The donut
Inside the rim, draw a big fat heart: a dip on top, 2 round bumps, a soft point below.
Tip Fat and puffy, not thin. Keep it inside the rim.
Step 4: The hole
Under the dip, in the upper middle of the heart, draw a small heart for the hole.
Step 5: Drippy frosting
From the top dip, draw the frosting a finger in from the edge, with 4 wavy drips across the bottom.
Step 6: Sprinkles
Draw 4 short fat sticks on the frosting, tilted different ways: 2 beside the hole, one on each side.
Step 7: More sprinkles
Draw 3 more sticks: 2 just under the hole, and one up on the right bump.
Step 8: Pink frosting
Go over your lines. Colour the frosting pink above the drips, going round the hole.
Step 9: Tan dough
Colour the dough tan around the pink frosting: the thin edge and the part under the drips.
Step 10: Yellow and sky sprinkles
Colour the sprinkles yellow and sky blue. Colour the plate rim sky blue too.

Your finished drawing
Follow the steps above and this is where you end up: a heart donut, drawn by you.
