How to Draw a Sorceress
Draw a sorceress in 13 easy steps, about 10 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: egg head.
Step 1: Egg head
Near the top of your paper, draw an egg for the head, a little narrower at the chin.
Tip Leave most of the page below for the body and legs.
Step 2: The face
Draw 2 big oval eyes, each with a black dot and white shine. Add a tiny nose and a smile.
Step 3: Hair and fringe
Start on the left of the head. Draw hair over the top, down the right side, then across the forehead.
Step 4: Long hair and band
Start on the hair each side. Draw long hair down past the shoulder and back up. Add a thin band.
Step 5: Dress and cape
Draw 2 neck lines. From the left one, draw a dress back to the right one. Add a cape behind.
Step 6: Two arms
Start at each shoulder. Draw the left arm hanging down, and the right arm bent out, ending at the wrist.
Step 7: Hands
On the left wrist, draw a hanging hand with a thumb bump. On the right wrist, draw a round fist.
Step 8: Staff and orb
Near the bottom, draw a ground line. From it, draw 2 lines up through the fist, ending in a ball.
Tip Add 2 little sparkle stars beside the orb.
Step 9: Legs and shoes
Start on the hem. Draw 2 lines down for each leg, stopping above the ground. Add a shoe on each.
Step 10: Sky orb, yellow staff
Colour the orb sky blue, and the gem, the staff and the sparkles yellow.
Step 11: Peach skin, pink cheeks
Colour pink cheeks, then the face, neck, hands and legs peach around them.
Tip Leave the eyes white.
Step 12: Teal dress, purple cape
Colour the dress and sleeves teal and the cape purple.
Step 13: Navy hair, black shoes
Colour the hair navy, even beside the neck, and the shoes black. Go over your lines and you are done.
