How to Draw a High Five
Draw a high five in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: 2 palms.
Step 1: 2 palms
Draw 2 rounded squares, one each side of the middle. Lean their tops in towards each other.
Tip Leave a gap between them, and room above for the fingers.
Step 2: Longest fingers
On top of each palm draw a long finger with a round tip, a little nearer the outside.
Tip Each finger is a long thin U turned upside down.
Step 3: Two more fingers
Draw a finger on each side of the long one, a bit shorter. Do the same on the other hand.
Step 4: Little fingers
Add a short little finger on the inside of each hand. Their tips touch in the middle: high five!
Tip Count them: 4 fingers on each hand so far.
Step 5: Thumbs
From the outer side of each palm draw a fat thumb pointing out and up. Now count 5 each.
Tip The thumb starts low on the palm, below the fingers.
Step 6: Wrists
Start under each palm and draw 2 wrist lines, half as wide as the palm. Stop a short way down.
Step 7: Sleeves
Across the end of each wrist draw a long box with round corners. That is a sleeve.
Step 8: Burst lines
Above the place where the hands touch draw 3 short lines fanning out.
Step 9: Two skin colours
Colour one hand and wrist peach and the other brown, right up to the sleeves.
Step 10: Bright sleeves
Colour one sleeve red and the other blue. Go over your lines. High five!

Your finished drawing
