How to Draw a Grandma Face
Draw a grandma face in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the head.
Step 1: The head
In the upper middle of your paper, draw a big egg for the head, a little narrower at the chin.
Tip About half the page tall. Leave room above for the bun and below for the cardigan.
Step 2: Big eyes and brows
Draw 2 big oval eyes below the middle, each with a big dot. Add a curved eyebrow above each.
Step 3: Nose and smile
Draw a tiny U nose just below the eyes, then a wide smile under it, from eye to eye.
Step 4: Round glasses
Draw a round glasses lens around each eye and a tiny curved bridge between them.
Step 5: Curly hair and fringe
Start on the head's left side. Draw 6 soft bumps over the top, then 3 curls back for the fringe.
Tip Soft round bumps, like a little cloud, not spikes.
Step 6: The bun
On top of the hair draw a round bun, sitting between the 2 top bumps.
Step 7: Ears
Draw a small C ear on each side, level with the eyes. Start and stop on the head line.
Step 8: Neck and cardigan
Draw 2 neck lines. Start at the left one, go out, down, across and up. Stop at the right one.
Step 9: Collar and buttons
From the left neck line draw a little U collar across to the right one. Add 2 buttons below it.
Step 10: Pink cheeks, peach skin
Colour the cheeks pink, then the face, ears and neck peach around them. Leave the eyes white.
Step 11: Grey hair and bun
Colour the hair and the bun grey.
Step 12: Purple cardigan
Colour the cardigan purple. Go over your lines and your grandma is done!
