How to Draw a Solar Panel
Draw a solar panel in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the tilted panel.
Step 1: The tilted panel
In the middle of your paper draw a big tilted rectangle, like a panel leaning back toward the sun.
Step 2: Rows
Draw 2 lines across the panel, edge to edge, slanting like the top, to cut it into 3 strips.
Step 3: Columns
Draw 3 lines down the panel, edge to edge, slanting like the sides, to make 12 little boxes.
Step 4: The pole
Start on the panel's bottom edge, under the middle, and draw a long pole straight down with a flat end.
Step 5: The brace
From halfway down the pole, draw a short slanted line up to the panel's bottom edge.
Step 6: The foot
Under the end of the pole draw a flat foot, a short wide shape with slanted sides.
Step 7: The ground
Draw the ground line across under the foot, stopping before each edge. Add 2 grass blades each side.
Step 8: The sun
In the top left corner draw a small round sun with 8 short rays.
Step 9: Yellow sun, grey pole
Colour the sun yellow. Colour the pole and the foot grey.
Step 10: Navy panel
Colour all the little boxes navy blue. Go over your lines and your solar panel is done!
