How to Draw a Softball
Draw a softball in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: big round ball.
Step 1: Big round ball
A little left of the middle of your paper, draw one big round circle, half as tall as the page.
Step 2: Curved seams
Start on the edge near the top and draw a curved seam down each side, stopping near the bottom.
Tip Keep the seams near the sides so the face has room.
Step 3: Big eyes
In the middle of the ball draw 2 big tall oval eyes. Add a black dot and shine in each.
Step 4: Big grin
Under the eyes draw a big wide U grin, from under one eye to under the other.
Step 5: Round cheeks
Add a round cheek at each end of the grin.
Step 6: V stitches
Along each seam draw 4 little V stitches, one under the other, pointing down.
Step 7: Small bat
Right of the ball, level with its bottom, draw a small bat: a knob, a thin handle, a fat end.
Step 8: Ground
Draw one long straight ground line under the ball and the whole bat, from left to right.
Step 9: Pink cheeks
Colour the 2 cheeks pink.
Step 10: Yellow ball
Colour the ball bright yellow, going around the eyes and the pink cheeks. Leave the eyes white.
Step 11: Wooden bat
Colour the bat wood brown. Go over your lines and your softball is ready to play!
