How to Draw Soap
Draw soap in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the soap bar.
Step 1: The soap bar
In the middle draw a fat pill shape lying down, about twice as wide as it is tall.
Step 2: The label
Inside the bar draw a smaller pill shape, a finger in all round, for the label.
Step 3: Two big eyes
In the label draw 2 big egg eyes. Colour a big black dot in each, leaving 2 white shine spots.
Step 4: Smile and cheeks
Under the eyes draw a U smile from one eye to the other. Add a small cheek beside each end.
Step 5: The dish
From left of the soap draw a flat-bottomed dish under it to the right. Add a line under the rim.
Step 6: Bubbles
Draw 4 bubbles above the soap, 2 each side: a big one low and a small one higher.
Step 7: Shine
Inside the bar, just under the top edge on the left, draw one short curve for the shine.
Step 8: The ground
Draw a long ground line along the bottom of the dish, past it on both sides.
Step 9: Cream label
Go over your lines, then colour the label cream around the eyes and cheeks. Leave the eyes and cheeks white.
Step 10: Sky bubbles
Colour the 4 bubbles sky blue.
Step 11: Pink soap
Colour the cheeks pink, then colour the bar pink around the label.
Step 12: Slate dish
Colour the dish slate grey up to the soap, and your soap is squeaky clean!
