How to Draw Funny Glasses
Draw funny glasses in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: two round lenses.
Step 1: Two round lenses
Draw 2 big circles side by side, the same size, with a gap between them as wide as 2 fingers.
Tip Leave room above for eyebrows and below for a moustache.
Step 2: Thick frames
Inside each circle draw another circle, a little smaller, to make a thick frame.
Step 3: The bridge
Start on the left frame, near the top. Draw 2 rainbow lines across the gap. Stop on the right frame.
Step 4: Big nose
Under the bridge draw a big pear nose hanging down: thin at the top, fat and round at the bottom.
Tip Rub out the bit of bridge line inside the top of the nose.
Step 5: Nostrils
Inside the fat end of the nose draw a C on the left and a backwards C on the right.
Step 6: The moustache
From each side of the nose sweep a line out to a round tip. Come back under with 3 bumps.
Tip The two halves meet in a little dip under the nose.
Step 7: Bushy eyebrows
Start on a frame's outer side. Draw 5 bumps up and over the top, ending on the frame. Do both.
Step 8: Two arms
From the outside of each frame draw a short thin arm going out, with its end hooked down.
Step 9: Glass shine
In each lens draw 2 short slanted lines side by side, the second one shorter.
Step 10: Sky glass, peach nose
Colour the glass inside both frames sky blue. Colour the nose peach.
Step 11: Brown and bushy
Colour the moustache and both eyebrows brown.
Step 12: Black frames
Go over your lines. Colour both frames, the bridge and the arms black. Your funny glasses are ready!
