How to Draw a Snow Cone

10 steps · Medium · about 8 min

Draw a snow cone in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.

Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: ball of ice.

Print

  1. Step 1: Ball of ice

Above the middle of your paper, draw a big round ball as big as your fist, a tiny bit bumpy.

  2. Step 2: Paper cone

From beside the ball's bottom left, draw a long V down to a round tip and up the right side.

Tip The ball sits down inside the cone.

  3. Step 3: The rim

Across the top of the cone, draw a flat oval rim. Lift your pencil where the ball hides it.

  4. Step 4: Cone band

Just below the rim, draw a gently curved line across the cone, from side to side.

  5. Step 5: Syrup lines

Draw 2 gentle wavy lines across the ball, edge to edge: one above the middle, one below.

  6. Step 6: Spoon straw

From the top right of the ball, draw a spoon straw sticking out: 2 long lines with a flat end.

Tip Its spoon end is hidden in the ice.

  7. Step 7: A shine

Near the top left of the ball, draw a small curved sliver, pointed at both ends.

  8. Step 8: Yellow and sky syrup

Colour the band between the lines yellow. Colour the bottom of the ball and inside the rim sky blue.

  9. Step 9: Red syrup

Colour the top of the ball red, down to the first wavy line. Leave the shine white.

  10. Step 10: Grey spoon

Colour the spoon straw grey. Leave the cone white. Your snow cone is done!
