How to Draw a Creme Brulee
Draw a creme brulee in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the dish.
Step 1: The dish
Start left, near the middle. Draw a wide dish down and up to the right. Add an oval rim.
Tip A ramekin is a little baking dish, a bit wider at the top.
Step 2: The caramel top
Just inside the rim draw a second flat oval for the crackly sugar top.
Step 3: Cracks
On the sugar top draw 2 short curved lines, one left and one right, where a spoon has tapped.
Step 4: Ridges
Draw 6 lines down the dish from under the rim to near the bottom, evenly spaced.
Step 5: A berry
Lying on the sugar, a little left of the middle, draw a small round berry.
Step 6: A leaf
From the right side of the berry draw a little leaf pointing right, with a line down the middle.
Step 7: A spoon
Right of the dish draw a spoon lying down: an oval bowl and a thin handle sloping gently down.
Step 8: The table
Draw a table line under the dish from far left to far right, touching the dish and spoon.
Step 9: Cream dish
Go over your lines, then colour the dish and its rim cream.
Step 10: Grey spoon
Colour the spoon grey.
Step 11: Golden sugar
Colour the sugar top ginger, a golden brown, around the berry and leaf.
Step 12: Red berry, green leaf
Colour the berry red and the leaf green, and your creme brulee is done!
