How to Draw a Smoothie

10 steps · Medium · about 8 min

Draw a smoothie in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.

Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the glass.

Print

  1. Step 1: The glass

Start on the left, above the middle. Draw a tall glass down, across and up, stopping level with the start.

Tip Tall and a little narrower at the bottom.

  2. Step 2: Rim and shine

Join the top ends with a flat oval rim. Draw a thin curved shine inside, on the left.

  3. Step 3: A straw

From the rim, right of the middle, draw a straw of 2 lines leaning up and right, with 3 stripes.

  4. Step 4: A strawberry

Over the left end of the rim, draw a strawberry with a zigzag cap. Dot 5 tiny seeds.

Tip The strawberry sits on the rim, half over the side.

  5. Step 5: Mint leaves

From the rim, left of the straw, draw 2 fat leaves sticking up, each with a line down the middle.

  6. Step 6: Foot and ground

Under the glass, draw a thin flat oval foot and a ground line.

  7. Step 7: Pink top, grey foot

Go over your lines, then colour the top inside the rim pink and the foot grey.

  8. Step 8: Green leaves and cap

Colour the 2 mint leaves and the strawberry cap green.

  9. Step 9: Red berry and straw

Colour the strawberry red around the seeds, and the straw red.

  10. Step 10: Purple smoothie

Colour the glass purple, around the strawberry and the pink top. Leave the shine white.
