How to Draw a Slime Jar
Draw a slime jar in 13 easy steps, about 10 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the jar.
Step 1: The jar
In the middle, start at the top left. Draw a tall U with soft corners, stopping at the top right.
Step 2: Slime blob
Over the top of the jar, draw a big slime blob, wider than the jar, with a wavy bottom edge.
Step 3: Two big eyes
On the slime blob, draw 2 big egg eyes. Colour a big black dot in each, leaving a white shine.
Step 4: Smile and cheeks
Start under the left eye. Draw a wide U smile to under the right eye. Add a cheek each side.
Step 5: A drip
From the wavy edge, draw a long drip down the front of the jar, with a round end.
Step 6: Rim band
Under the blob, draw a line across the jar from side to side, skipping the drip.
Step 7: The lid
On the ground right of the jar, draw a short flat lid with a little round knob on top.
Step 8: Glass shine
Down the left side of the jar, draw a thin shine with round ends, just inside the edge.
Step 9: Ground line
Start a little in from the left edge. Draw a ground line under the jar, stopping near the right edge.
Step 10: Sparkles
Draw 2 little 4-point sparkles in the air, one each side of the jar.
Step 11: Pink cheeks, yellow sparkles
Go over your lines. Colour the sparkles yellow and the cheeks pink.
Step 12: Sky glass
Colour the glass band under the blob very light sky blue, going around the drip.
Step 13: Green slime, purple lid
Colour all the slime green, around the cheeks. Leave the eyes and shine white. Colour the lid purple.
