How to Draw a Skydiver
Draw a skydiver in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: helmet and face.
Step 1: Helmet and face
Above the middle, draw a round helmet with a curved brim. Under it, add 2 black eyes and a smile.
Tip The helmet is as big as a plum.
Step 2: Goggles
Draw a ring round each eye, touching in the middle, and a strap from each ring to the helmet edge.
Step 3: The body
Under the helmet, draw a fat sausage body, a bit narrower than the helmet and a bit taller.
Step 4: Arms flung out
From each side of the body, draw an arm flung out and UP toward the corner, with an elbow bend.
Tip Wide at the shoulder, narrower at the wrist.
Step 5: Mitten gloves
At the end of each arm draw a mitten glove: round bunched fingers with a little thumb bump.
Step 6: Legs flung out
From the bottom of the body, draw the legs flung out and DOWN toward the corners, with a knee bend.
Step 7: Boots
At the end of each leg, draw a boot pointing down and out, with a rounded toe and flat sole.
Step 8: Pack and harness
Under each arm, draw the parachute pack peeking out. Add 2 shoulder straps, a chest strap and a belt.
Step 9: Clouds
Draw a puffy cloud low on the left and a bigger one high on the right, each with 3 bumps.
Step 10: Pink cheeks, peach face
Colour 2 pink cheeks, then the face peach around them and the goggle straps. Leave the goggles white.
Step 11: Orange suit, slate gear
Colour the body, arms and legs orange, and the helmet top, goggle straps, gloves, boots and pack slate.
Step 12: Sky and clouds
Colour the sky light blue around the skydiver, right to the edges, leaving the clouds white. Go over your lines!
