How to Draw a Monster Mouth
Draw a monster mouth in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the big u.
Step 1: The big U
Start at a point on the left. Draw a huge U down and back up to the right.
Tip Make it really wide: a big laugh.
Step 2: Close the top
Start at the left point. Draw a gentle curve bowing up a little, across to the right point.
Step 3: Top fangs
Hanging from the top curve, draw 5 pointy fangs a gap apart. Make the middle fang longest.
Step 4: Bottom fangs
Standing up from the big U, draw 4 more pointy fangs, 2 on each side.
Step 5: Long tongue
In the middle of the U, draw a long tongue hanging down past the bottom. Add a middle line.
Step 6: Bottom lip
Start at the left corner. Draw a bigger U a finger below the smile, back up to the right corner.
Step 7: Top lip
Start at the left corner. Draw a soft wide M above the smile, down to the right corner.
Step 8: Drool drip
From the left of the bottom lip, draw a drool drip hanging down. Add 1 drop falling below.
Step 9: Pink tongue
Colour the tongue pink and the drool sky blue. Go over your lines.
Step 10: Purple lips, dark mouth
Colour the lips purple and the inside of the mouth dark. Leave the fangs white.
