How to Draw a Hairdresser
Draw a hairdresser in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the head.
Step 1: The head
Near the top, in the middle, draw an egg for the head, a little narrower at the chin.
Tip Leave most of the page below for the body and legs.
Step 2: The face
Below the middle, draw 2 round eyes with a tiny lash each. Add a nose and a smile.
Step 3: Hair and bun
Draw hair over the head, down to the eyes, with a fringe. Add a round bun on top.
Step 4: Neck and shirt
Draw 2 short neck lines. From the left one, draw a short-sleeved shirt, ending at the right neck line.
Step 5: Apron and comb
Start on the chest. Draw a long apron past the knees, back to the chest. Add a pocket and comb.
Step 6: Long sleeves
Make each sleeve long, with a cuff, and rub out the short sleeve ends. Bend the right arm up.
Step 7: Mitten and fist
Draw a mitten hanging from the left cuff, and a round fist on top of the right cuff.
Step 8: Hair dryer
Start at the fist. Draw a handle up, stopping at a round dryer with a nozzle. Add 2 air lines.
Step 9: Trousers and shoes
Start at the left hem. Draw 2 trouser legs, stopping at the right hem. Add shoes and a ground line.
Step 10: Peach skin, pink dryer
Go over your lines. Colour the face, neck and hands peach. Colour the cheeks and the dryer pink.
Tip Leave the eyes white.
Step 11: Sky shirt, purple apron
Colour the shirt and sleeves sky blue, and the apron and pocket purple.
Step 12: Dark trousers, black hair
Colour the trousers dark grey, then the hair, bun and shoes black. Your hairdresser is done!
