How to Draw Ski Poles and Skis
Draw ski poles and skis in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: first ski.
Step 1: First ski
Draw a long thin ski from the ground near the middle up to the top right. Curl the tip over.
Step 2: Second ski
Draw a second ski crossing it the other way, from the ground on the right up to the top left.
Tip The 2 skis make an X. Rub out where one passes behind the other.
Step 3: Bindings
Below where the skis cross, draw a small band across each ski for a binding, one a little lower.
Step 4: Two poles
On each side draw a thin pole leaning inward, from the ground to above where the skis cross.
Step 5: Baskets and grips
Near the bottom of each pole draw a small flat oval basket. At the top draw a fatter grip.
Step 6: Snow mound
Start low on the left. Draw a soft snow mound behind the skis, down to the ground on the right.
Step 7: Ground line
Start a little in from the left edge. Draw a straight ground line across and stop near the right edge.
Step 8: Snowflakes
Draw 4 little snowflakes around the skis, each made of 3 short lines crossing like a star.
Step 9: Red skis
Go over your lines. Colour the skis red and the bindings slate grey.
Step 10: Blue poles
Colour the poles blue and the grips and baskets slate grey.
Step 11: White snow
Leave the snow mound white, with no colour on it. Your skis and poles are done!
