How to Draw a Skater
Draw a skater in 13 easy steps, about 10 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: egg head.
Step 1: Egg head
Near the top of your paper, draw an egg for the head, a little narrower at the chin.
Tip Leave the page below for the body, legs and skateboard.
Step 2: The face
Below the middle of the head, draw 2 small oval eyes with black dots. Add a nose and a smile.
Step 3: Helmet
Start on the head's left. Draw a round helmet over the top to the right. Add 2 oval vents inside.
Step 4: T-shirt
Draw 2 neck lines under the chin. From the left one, draw a short-sleeved T-shirt, ending at the right one.
Step 5: Arms
Start under each sleeve and draw 2 lines down to the wrist, bending gently at the elbow.
Step 6: Mitten hands
At the bottom of each arm, draw a mitten like an egg bottom, with a little thumb pointing in.
Step 7: Shorts
Start at the T-shirt's bottom left corner. Draw shorts down, up between the legs, and stop at the right corner.
Step 8: Legs and knee pads
Draw an oval knee pad on each knee. Then draw 2 lines from the shorts down to the ankle.
Step 9: Sneakers
At the bottom of each leg, draw a sneaker with the toe pointing out, and a curved toe line.
Step 10: Skateboard
Under the sneakers, draw a long board with curled-up ends. Add 2 wheels under it and a ground line.
Step 11: Peach skin, pink cheeks
Colour pink cheeks, then the face, neck, arms, hands and legs peach around them.
Tip Leave the eyes white.
Step 12: Yellow board, red helmet
Colour the board yellow, then the helmet and sneakers red.
Step 13: Green shirt, navy shorts
Colour the T-shirt green, shorts and knee pads navy, wheels black. Go over your lines and you are done.
