How to Draw an Anime Girl Face
Draw an anime girl face in 13 easy steps, about 10 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the head.
Step 1: The head
Draw a big egg for the head in the upper middle of your paper, narrower at the chin.
Tip Leave room above and at the sides for the long hair.
Step 2: Big tall eyes
Below the middle of the head draw 2 big tall ovals, a gap apart. Add a thick dark eyelid each.
Step 3: Eyelashes
Flick 2 long eyelashes off the outside of each thick lid, sweeping up and out.
Step 4: Irises and pupils
Draw a tall egg in each eye, touching the lid. Inside draw a tall thin black egg for the pupil.
Step 5: Big shines
Draw a big round shine high on the outer side of each iris, and a small one low inside.
Step 6: Nose, mouth and brows
Under the eyes draw a tiny slanting tick nose and a small smile. Add a thin dark eyebrow above each.
Step 7: Pointed bangs
Start on the left side of the head. Draw pointed zigzags across the forehead, ending on the right side.
Step 8: Top of the hair
From the left end of the bangs draw the hair up over the head, down to the right end.
Step 9: Long hair
On each side draw the long hair from the top of the head down to the shoulder and back up.
Step 10: Collar and top
Under the neck draw a U collar from hair to hair. Draw the bottom of the top straight across.
Step 11: Peach skin
Colour the face and neck peach around the dark lids and brows. Add pink cheeks. Leave the eyes white.
Step 12: Pink top, blue eyes
Colour the top pink and the irises blue, leaving the shines white.
Step 13: Purple hair
Colour all the hair purple. Go over your lines to finish.
