How to Draw a Sink

11 steps · Medium · about 8 min

Draw a sink in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.

Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the rim.

Print

  1. Step 1: The rim

Above the middle draw a wide flat oval, a hand and a half across, with a smaller oval inside.

  2. Step 2: The basin

Start at the rim's left end. Draw a smile down and round under it, stopping at the right end.

  3. Step 3: Two big eyes

On the front of the basin, below the rim, draw 2 big egg eyes. Colour a black dot in each.

  4. Step 4: Smile and cheeks

Under the eyes draw a wide U smile from eye to eye, with a small oval cheek beside each end.

  5. Step 5: The pedestal

From the bottom of the bowl draw 2 lines straight down, stopping near the bottom. Add a flat bar below.

  6. Step 6: Faucet and drop

From the back of the rim, draw a thick candy-cane tube up and over, pointing down. Add a drop.

  7. Step 7: Two taps

On each side of the faucet, draw a small tap, a short post with a bar sticking out.

  8. Step 8: The floor

Draw a long floor line under the base, from near one edge of the page to the other.

  9. Step 9: White sink, sky water

Go over your lines, leave the sink white, and colour the water and the drop sky blue.

    Tip Keep the eyes white.

  10. Step 10: Pink cheeks

    Colour the two cheeks pink.

  11. Step 11: Grey faucet and taps

Colour the faucet and both taps grey, and your sink is done!
