How to Draw a Shower Cap
Draw a shower cap in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the head.
Step 1: The head
In the lower middle of your paper draw a big egg for the head, a little narrower at the chin.
Tip Leave lots of room above the head for the puffy cap.
Step 2: Big eyes
Below the middle of the head draw 2 big oval eyes. Colour a black dot in each, leaving a shine.
Step 3: Nose and smile
Under the eyes draw a tiny U for the nose, then a wide U smile below it.
Step 4: Rosy cheeks
Beside each end of the smile draw a small flat oval for a rosy cheek.
Step 5: The puffy cap
Over the head draw a big puffy cap that curves down to the ears. Rub out the lines inside.
Tip A shower cap is a puffy plastic cap that keeps your hair dry in the shower.
Step 6: Stretchy band
Along the bottom of the cap draw a thin stretchy band, from ear to ear. Rub out the line inside.
Step 7: Frilly edge
Under the band draw a row of soft bumps for the frilly edge, from one end to the other.
Step 8: Polka dots
On the cap draw 9 round polka dots, spread out and clear of the band.
Step 9: Water drops
In the air around the cap draw 3 little water drops, pointy at the top and round at the bottom.
Step 10: Pink cap and cheeks
Colour the cap and its frilly edge pink, around the dots. Colour the cheeks pink too.
Step 11: Peach face
Colour the face peach, around the cheeks. Leave the eyes white.
Step 12: Teal band, blue drops
Go over your lines, then colour the water drops light blue and the stretchy band teal.
