How to Draw a Thank You Card
Draw a thank you card in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the card front.
Step 1: The card front
In the middle of your paper draw a tall box standing up for the front of the card.
Step 2: The folded back
Start at the top right corner. Slant a line down just outside the card, then back to the bottom corner.
Tip Now the card looks folded open a little.
Step 3: T, H and A
Near the top of the card write THANK in tall capital letters. Start with T, H and A.
Tip Capital letters are all straight lines here. Keep them the same height.
Step 4: N and K
Next to them write N and K. Stop before the edge of the card.
Step 5: YOU underneath
Under THANK, in the middle, write YOU in capital letters of the same height.
Step 6: A big heart
Below the words draw a big heart: 2 round bumps on top and a point at the bottom.
Tip Start and end at the dip between the bumps.
Step 7: Two little stars
Draw a little star on each side of the heart's point, near the bottom corners of the card.
Step 8: The ground
Draw a long ground line under the card, from the left of your paper to the right.
Step 9: Cream card
Go over your lines. Colour the card front cream, round the heart and stars. Colour the back sand.
Step 10: Yellow stars
Colour the 2 little stars yellow.
Step 11: Red heart
Colour the big heart red. Your thank you card is ready to give!

Your finished drawing
Follow the steps above and this is where you end up: a thank you card, drawn by you.
