How to Draw a Shopping Mall
Draw a shopping mall in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the wide front.
Step 1: The wide front
Draw a big wide box across most of your paper, from above the middle down to the ground.
Step 2: The roof ledge
Along the top draw a flat ledge box poking out a little past both sides.
Step 3: The big entrance
In the middle draw a tall entrance from the ground up to a peak under the ledge, and down.
Step 4: The sign
Above the peak draw a wide box for the sign.
Step 5: MALL
Write MALL in big capital letters across the sign.
Step 6: Sliding doors
Draw a door-top line halfway down the entrance. Draw 3 evenly spaced lines from it down to the ground.
Step 7: Upstairs glass
On each side of the entrance draw a long window box, with a line down the middle of each.
Step 8: Shop fronts
Under them draw a shop box on each side, with a line down the middle. Add a sign box above.
Step 9: Flag and ground
Add a flagpole and flag on the ledge. Draw the ground line from the left edge across to the right.
Step 10: Yellow signs, sky glass
Go over your lines. Colour the 2 shop signs yellow, and the entrance, windows and shop fronts sky blue.
Step 11: Stone walls
Colour the walls and the ledge stone grey, going around the glass and the yellow signs.
Step 12: Red sign and flag
Colour the sign red, going around the letters, and the flag red. Your shopping mall is done!

Your finished drawing
Follow the steps above and this is where you end up: a shopping mall, drawn by you.
