How to Draw a Shawarma
Draw a shawarma in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the wrap.
Step 1: The wrap
Draw a tall U, a little wider at the top. Join its top corners with a line that dips.
Tip A shawarma is meat and salad rolled up in flatbread.
Step 2: The fold
Start on the top edge near the right corner. Draw a soft curve down to the left side.
Step 3: Meat pieces
Poking up out of the top draw 3 wide pieces of meat with round tops, the middle one tallest.
Step 4: Tomato slices
In front of the meat draw 2 tomato slices the same size, round tops peeking over the front edge.
Step 5: Lettuce
At each top corner draw a frilly lettuce leaf with soft bumps, spilling over the edge.
Step 6: Grill marks
On the bread, right of the fold, draw 3 short slanting lines, one under the other.
Step 7: Paper wrap
Round the bottom draw a wider paper U. Add a fold line from its top edge to its right side.
Step 8: The table
Draw a line under the wrap from well left to well right, just touching its bottom.
Step 9: Tan bread
Go over your lines. Colour the bread tan and leave the paper white.
Step 10: Green lettuce, red tomato
Colour the lettuce leaves green and the tomato slices red.
Step 11: Brown meat
Colour the meat pieces brown, and your shawarma is done!
