How to Draw a Shark Fin
Draw a shark fin in 9 easy steps, about 7 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the fin.
Step 1: The fin
Start low, left of the middle. Sweep up to a point near the top, then scoop down to the right.
Step 2: Water line
Start near the left edge. Draw a wavy line right across, through the fin's bottom. Stop near the right edge.
Step 3: Edge of the sea
From the left end of the wavy line, draw down, along a wavy bottom and up to the right end.
Step 4: Waves in the sea
Inside the sea, draw 2 short wavy lines, one under each side of the fin.
Step 5: Splash of wake
Where the fin meets the water, draw a short curved splash line on each side, leaning away from the fin.
Step 6: Second fin far away
Far right, start on the water line. Draw a tiny fin up to a point, back down to the water.
Step 7: The sun
Up in the top right, draw a small sun: a circle with 8 short rays all round it.
Step 8: Yellow sun, grey fins
Colour the sun yellow. Colour both fins grey, down to the water line.
Step 9: Blue sea
Colour the sea blue, from the wavy line down to the edge of the sea.
