How to Draw a Shape Robot
Draw a shape robot in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: square head.
Step 1: Square head
Near the top of your paper draw a square for the robot's head.
Tip This robot is built from shapes you know: squares, rectangles and circles!
Step 2: Two big eyes
In the square draw 2 round eyes close together. Add a black dot and white shine in each.
Step 3: Smile
Under the eyes draw a small U smile from under the left eye to under the right eye.
Step 4: Rectangle body
Under the head draw a tiny rectangle neck, then a big rectangle body, wider than the head.
Step 5: Arms and hands
Draw a short rectangle arm on each side of the body, and a circle hand at the end.
Step 6: Legs and feet
Under the body draw 2 tall rectangle legs, a gap apart. Under each leg draw a flat wide rectangle foot.
Step 7: Buttons, panel, antenna
On the body draw 2 buttons and a square panel. From the head, draw a line up to a circle.
Step 8: Sparkles and ground
Draw a sparkle on each side of the head, and a ground line under the feet from left to right.
Step 9: Grey robot
Go over your lines. Colour the robot grey, leaving the eyes, buttons, panel, feet and antenna ball white.
Step 10: Dark feet, red buttons
Colour the feet dark grey, and the 2 buttons and the antenna circle red.
Step 11: Sky panel, yellow sparkles
Colour the panel sky blue and the sparkles yellow. Your shape robot is done!
