How to Draw a Semicircle
Draw a semicircle in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: big semicircle.
Step 1: Big semicircle
Draw a big semicircle: a flat bottom line with a round rainbow arch from one end over to the other.
Tip The shape is the whole drawing, so make it big and neat.
Step 2: 2 big eyes
In the middle draw 2 big eggy eyes, close together. Colour a black dot in each, leaving a shine.
Step 3: Big smile
Leave a gap under the eyes, then draw a wide U smile from under one eye across to the other.
Step 4: Rosy cheeks
Under the outside of each eye, clear of the smile, draw a small sideways oval for a rosy cheek.
Step 5: A shine
In the top-left of the semicircle draw 1 short curved shine line, like light bouncing off it.
Step 6: Sparkles
Draw 2 sparkle stars on each side of the semicircle, one high and one low.
Step 7: The floor
Along the semicircle's flat bottom, draw a long floor line from past the left end to past the right.
Step 8: Pink cheeks
Colour the 2 cheeks rosy pink.
Step 9: Yellow sparkles
Colour the 4 sparkles yellow.
Step 10: Purple semicircle
Go over your lines and colour the semicircle purple, around the pink cheeks. Leave the eyes white. You're done!
