How to Draw a Bubble Letter J
Draw a bubble letter J in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the big j.
Step 1: The big J
Draw a fat bubble J in the middle: a fat stem going down and curling left like a hook.
Tip Bubble letters are fat and round, like balloons.
Step 2: The top bar
Draw a fat bar with round ends across the top of the stem. Rub out the lines inside it.
Step 3: Two big eyes
On the stem, below the top bar, draw 2 round eyes, not touching. Colour a black dot in each.
Step 4: A smile
Under the eyes draw a small U smile, from under the left eye to under the right eye.
Step 5: Sparkles on the left
On the left of the J draw 2 sparkle stars, one higher and one lower.
Step 6: Sparkles on the right
Draw 2 more sparkle stars on the right to match.
Step 7: A shadow
Draw a thin flat oval for the shadow, with the bottom of the J sitting in its middle.
Step 8: The floor
Draw a long floor line out from each side of the shadow.
Step 9: Yellow sparkles, grey shadow
Colour the 4 sparkle stars yellow and the shadow grey.
Step 10: Teal letter J
Go over your lines. Colour the whole J teal, leaving the eyes white. Your bubble letter J is done!
