How to Draw a Bowling Pin
Draw a bowling pin in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the pin.
Step 1: The pin
Left of the middle draw a bowling pin: a small head, a narrow neck, a fat belly, a flat bottom.
Tip Head small, neck narrow, belly big, like a chubby vase.
Step 2: Two big eyes
On the fat belly draw 2 big round eyes a finger apart, with a black dot and shine in each.
Step 3: Smile and cheeks
Under the eyes draw a wide U smile from eye to eye. Add a small oval cheek beside each end.
Step 4: Neck stripes
Across the narrow neck draw 2 stripes, one under the other, each from the left edge to the right edge.
Step 5: The shine
On the small head draw one short curved shine line near the left edge.
Step 6: A bowling ball
Beside the pin on the right draw a round ball. Near its top right add 3 small finger holes.
Step 7: The lane
Draw a lane line right across the paper, with a flat oval shadow under the pin.
Step 8: Sparkles
Draw 3 sparkle stars around, each like a plus sign with curvy dips.
Step 9: Yellow stars, pink cheeks
Colour the 3 stars yellow and the cheeks pink. Leave the pin and the eyes white.
Step 10: Red stripes, grey shadow
Colour the 2 neck stripes red and the flat shadow grey.
Step 11: Navy ball
Colour the ball navy around the 3 white holes. Go over your lines and your bowling pin is done!
