How to Draw a Seahorse Face
Draw a seahorse face in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: head and snout.
Step 1: Head and snout
From the back of the neck, draw a big round head, a short tube snout, and stop under the chin.
Step 2: Big eye
High on the head, back from the snout, draw one big round eye with a pupil and a shine.
Step 3: Little smile
Start at the tip of the snout and draw a little smile that dips down and curves up.
Step 4: Knobby crown
On top of the head, draw 3 round knobs that start and stop on the head line.
Step 5: Neck and tummy
From the chin, draw a round tummy. From the neck, draw a curved back. Stop both low, close together.
Step 6: Curly tail
From the end of the back, curl the tail forward like a snail shell, getting thinner. Stop at the tummy.
Step 7: Fan fin
On the back, draw a little rounded fan fin that starts and stops on the back line. Add 2 lines.
Step 8: Tummy ridges
Across the tummy, draw 2 soft curved lines from front to back, like rings.
Step 9: Pink cheek
Colour a small pink cheek under the eye.
Step 10: Yellow seahorse
Colour the head, snout, tummy and tail yellow around the pink cheek. Leave the eye white.
Step 11: Orange crown and fin
Colour the 3 crown knobs and the fan fin orange.
