How to Draw a Screwdriver
Draw a screwdriver in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the handle.
Step 1: The handle
Near the top draw a fat handle with a round top and straight sides, narrowing to a flat bottom.
Tip The flat bottom is a thumb wide.
Step 2: A happy face
High in the handle draw 2 big round eyes with black dots. Add a wide U smile under them.
Step 3: The metal collar
Start at the handle's bottom-left corner. Draw a short flat box under it and stop at the bottom-right corner.
Step 4: The shaft
From the bottom of the collar draw 2 long lines straight down, a finger apart. Stop near the bottom.
Step 5: The flat tip
Start at the bottom of the left shaft line. Flare out, go down to a flat bottom, and back up.
Step 6: Rosy cheeks
Draw a small oval cheek out beside each end of the smile.
Step 7: The ground
Start left of the tip and draw a long ground line across, right under the flat tip.
Step 8: A screw
Right of the tip draw a screw lying down, with a little box head and 3 slanted dashes.
Step 9: Peach and grey
Colour the cheeks peach, and the shaft, the flat tip and the screw light grey.
Step 10: Red handle
Colour the handle red around the peach cheeks. Leave the eyes white.
Step 11: Dark grey collar
Go over your lines, then colour the metal collar dark grey. Your screwdriver is done!
