How to Draw an Army Helmet
Draw an army helmet in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the dome.
Step 1: The dome
Draw a big round dome like a hill. Flick each bottom end out to a point, then join them underneath.
Tip Make both sides match.
Step 2: The rim
Start low on the left edge. Draw a line along the bottom edge and stop on the right edge.
Step 3: Two big eyes
In the middle of the dome draw 2 big oval eyes with black dots and shines.
Tip Leave room above the eyes for a star.
Step 4: Smile and cheeks
Under the eyes draw a U smile. Add a small oval cheek beside each eye.
Step 5: A star
Above the eyes draw a star with 5 points.
Tip Draw it like an A without lifting your pencil, then rub out the lines inside.
Step 6: Chin strap
From under the rim on the left, loop a strap down and back up to the right side.
Tip The strap goes under the chin to keep the helmet on.
Step 7: The buckle
On the left of the strap draw a small box with round corners for the buckle.
Tip Rub out the strap lines inside the buckle.
Step 8: Cheeks and star
Colour the cheeks pink and the star yellow. Leave the eyes white.
Step 9: Green helmet
Colour the whole helmet green, around the eyes, cheeks and star.
Step 10: Strap and buckle
Colour the strap brown and the buckle grey. Your army helmet is ready!

Your finished drawing
