How to Draw an Open Locker
Draw an open locker in 13 steps, about 10 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the locker.
Step 1: The locker
On the right draw a tall box, taller than it is wide. Draw a smaller box just inside it.
Step 2: The open door
On the left draw the door swung open: a tall box leaning out a little from the locker's corners.
Step 3: Two big eyes
On the door, in the middle, draw 2 big egg eyes. Colour a big black dot in each.
Step 4: Smile and cheeks
Under the eyes draw a wide U smile from eye to eye, and a small flat cheek beside each eye.
Step 5: Vents and handle
Draw 3 vent lines across the top of the door, and a small tall handle by its left edge.
Step 6: Shelf and books
Inside the locker, start on the left a third down. Draw a shelf across to the right. Add 3 books.
Step 7: The mirror
Under the shelf on the right draw a small rounded rectangle for a mirror.
Step 8: Hook and jacket
On the left, start on the shelf and draw a short hook down to a collar. Hang a jacket.
Step 9: Ground line
Start a little in from the left edge. Draw a ground line under the locker, stopping near the right edge.
Step 10: Sky mirror, pink cheeks
Colour the mirror sky blue and the cheeks pink.
Step 11: Red books, green jacket
Colour the books red and the jacket green.
Step 12: Blue door and frame
Colour the door and the locker frame blue around the cheeks. Leave the eyes white.
Step 13: Grey inside
Go over your lines, then colour the inside grey around the books, jacket and mirror.
