How to Draw a Pile of Presents
Draw a pile of presents in 12 steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the big box.
Step 1: The big box
On the left of your paper, draw a tall box with a thin lid that sticks out past each side.
Step 2: Box on the right
Beside it on the right, draw a shorter wide box on the same ground, with its own thin lid.
Step 3: Little box on top
On top of the big box, near its left side, draw a small box with a thin lid.
Tip Rub out the big lid's line where the small box covers it.
Step 4: Ribbons up and over
On each box, draw a ribbon of 2 close lines, starting at the lid and going down to the bottom.
Step 5: Ribbons across
Draw 2 close lines across the big box and the right box, a little below their middles.
Step 6: Two bows
On the little box and the right box, draw a bow: a small knot with an oval loop each side.
Step 7: Dots and stripes
Draw 4 dots on the big box, 3 on the little box, and 4 short lines on the right one.
Step 8: Floor and sparkles
Draw a floor line under the boxes from edge to edge, and 2 sparkles in the air.
Step 9: Yellow ribbons
Go over your lines, then colour all the ribbons yellow.
Step 10: Yellow bows and sparkles
Colour both bows and the 2 sparkles yellow.
Step 11: Blue little box
Colour the little box on top blue, around the ribbon. Leave its dots white.
Step 12: Red and green boxes
Colour the big box red and the right box green, around the ribbons and white dots. You're done!
