How to Draw a Schnitzel
Draw a schnitzel in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: a plate.
Step 1: A plate
A little below the middle, draw a big oval plate, a little wider than it is tall.
Step 2: The rim
Draw a second oval a finger inside the plate, all the way round, for the rim.
Step 3: The schnitzel
On the left of the plate, draw a big flat oval with a bumpy crumb edge all the way round.
Tip A schnitzel is flat meat in a crispy crumb coat.
Step 4: Crispy crumbs
On the schnitzel, dot 5 tiny crumbs, spread out and away from the edge.
Step 5: A lemon wedge
On the schnitzel's top right, draw a half-round lemon wedge, flat side tilted, with 3 lines from the middle.
Step 6: Parsley
Low on the left of the cutlet, draw a sprig of parsley: a short stem with 3 little oval leaves.
Step 7: Little potatoes
On the right of the plate, draw 2 small rounded potatoes, one low and one higher up right.
Step 8: Cream potatoes
Colour the potatoes cream.
Step 9: Yellow lemon
Colour the lemon wedge yellow.
Step 10: Tan cutlet, green parsley
Colour the schnitzel tan, around the lemon and parsley. Colour the parsley leaves green.
Step 11: Sky plate
Colour the plate sky blue, around the food.
