How to Draw a Croquembouche
Draw a croquembouche in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: a plate.
Step 1: A plate
Near the bottom draw a long flat oval plate, nearly as wide as the page. Add a smaller oval inside.
Step 2: Bottom rows
On the plate draw 4 lumpy rounds in a row, each a thumb across. Draw 4 more on top.
Tip A croquembouche is a tower of little cream puffs stuck together with caramel.
Step 3: Two rows of three
Draw a row of 3 rounds on top, then another row of 3 above it. The tower gets narrower.
Step 4: Two rows of two
Draw a row of 2 rounds on top, and 2 more above them.
Step 5: Top puff
Draw 1 last round on the very top to make a point.
Step 6: Caramel drizzles
On 3 puffs draw a wavy caramel line. Start at the left edge, wiggle across, stop at the right edge.
Step 7: Sugar star
On the top puff draw a 5-pointed star as wide as the puff, its bottom points resting on it.
Step 8: The table
Draw a line under the plate from far left to far right, just touching its bottom.
Step 9: Tan puffs
Go over your lines. Colour all the puffs tan.
Step 10: Yellow star, sky plate
Colour the star yellow and the plate sky blue, around the puffs.

Your finished drawing
