How to Draw Saturn
Draw Saturn in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the planet.
Step 1: The planet
In the middle of your paper draw a big round planet, as big as a grapefruit.
Tip The face goes on it, so make it big.
Step 2: 2 big eyes
Above the middle of the planet draw 2 big egg eyes an eye apart, with a black dot and shine.
Step 3: Smile and cheeks
Draw a U smile from under the left eye to under the right eye. Add an oval cheek each side.
Step 4: Front of the ring
Start outside the planet's left edge. Draw a wide curve across the front, up to outside the right edge.
Tip Draw a second curve a finger inside the first, from edge to edge.
Step 5: Back of the ring
Start at the left end of the outer curve. Draw a curve behind the planet over to the right end.
Tip Do the same for the inside curve. Stop at the planet's edge each side.
Step 6: Craters
Draw 2 small round craters on the planet, clear of the face and ring: one top right, one left.
Step 7: Little stars
Draw 4 small stars around the planet, one near each corner.
Step 8: A little moon
Draw a little round moon on the right, under the end of the ring.
Step 9: Yellow stars, pink cheeks
Colour the stars and moon yellow. Colour the 2 cheeks pink.
Step 10: Sand ring, orange planet
Colour the ring sand, then the planet orange around the ring and cheeks. Leave the eyes white.
