Draw a letter to Santa in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the paper.
Step 1: The paper
On the left, draw a tall box for the paper. Leave room on the right.
Tip Make it nearly as tall as your page.
Step 2: The envelope
In front of the paper, low on the right, draw a wide box. Rub out the paper lines inside it.
Tip The envelope and the paper stand on the same level.
Step 3: The flap
Start at the top left corner of the envelope. Draw a big V and stop at the top right corner.
Tip The point of the V sits a little below the middle.
Step 4: Two folds
Start at each bottom corner. Draw a line up and stop at the point of the V.
Step 5: Round seal
On the point of the V draw a round seal. Rub out the lines inside it.
Step 6: Write Dear
Start near the top left of the paper. Write the word Dear in big letters and stop before the edge.
Tip A big D first, then small e, a and r.
Step 7: Write Santa
Start under the D. Write the word Santa in big letters and stop before the edge.
Tip A big S first, then small a, n, t and a.
Step 8: The wish list
Start under the S. Draw 4 wavy lines, one under the other. The lower 3 stop at the envelope.
Tip Each wavy line is one wish.
Step 9: The ground
Start left of the paper. Draw a ground line under it and stop past the envelope.
Step 10: Cream and yellow
Colour the paper cream, around the writing. Colour the round seal yellow.
Step 11: Red envelope
Colour the envelope red, around the seal. Your letter to Santa is ready to post!
