How to Draw a Sandwich Cookie

10 steps · Medium · about 8 min

Draw a sandwich cookie in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.

Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the cookie top.

Print

  1. Step 1: The cookie top

Just above the middle, draw a big flat oval for the cookie top, nearly as wide as your paper.

  2. Step 2: The cream

Under the oval, draw a thick band that follows its bottom half, joined at both ends, for the cream.

  3. Step 3: The bottom wafer

Under the cream, draw one more band the same way, a little thinner, for the bottom wafer.

  4. Step 4: The middle oval

In the middle of the cookie top, draw a small flat oval.

  5. Step 5: A ring of dots

Around the small oval, draw a ring of 6 little dots, well inside the cookie's edge.

  6. Step 6: A plate

Start under the cookie's left side. Draw a flat oval plate round the front, stopping under its right side.

  7. Step 7: The rim

Draw a curve just inside the plate's edge for the rim, starting and stopping at the cookie.

  8. Step 8: The table

Draw a line under the plate, a little wider than it, just touching its bottom.

  9. Step 9: Sky plate

Go over your lines, then colour the plate sky blue.

  10. Step 10: Brown wafers

Colour the cookie top and the bottom wafer brown. Leave the cream white, and your sandwich cookie is done!
