How to Draw a Wi-Fi Router
Draw a Wi-Fi router in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the box.
Step 1: The box
A little below the middle draw a long low rounded box lying flat for the router.
Tip A router sends wifi out through its antennas.
Step 2: Two big eyes
On the front of the box draw 2 big egg eyes in the middle. Colour a black dot in each.
Step 3: Smile and cheeks
Under the eyes draw a U smile, and a small flat oval cheek beside each end.
Step 4: Two antennas
On top draw 2 antennas standing up, one near each end, each a tall stick with a round top.
Step 5: Lights
On the left of the front draw 3 little dots in a row for the lights.
Step 6: Vents
On the right of the front draw 3 short lines for the vents.
Step 7: Wifi waves
Above the box, between the antennas, draw a dot with 3 curved arcs over it getting bigger, like a rainbow.
Step 8: The cable
From the low right corner draw a short cable out to the right, ending in a small plug.
Step 9: Ground
Draw a ground line along the bottom of the box from left to right, so the router sits flat.
Step 10: Sky blue router
Go over your lines, then colour the box sky blue around the face and lights. Leave the eyes white.
Step 11: Pink cheeks, green lights
Colour the cheeks pink and the lights green.
Step 12: Slate antennas, blue dot
Colour the antennas and the plug slate grey, and the wifi dot blue. Connected!
