How to Draw Wind-Up Chattering Teeth
Draw wind-up chattering teeth in 13 easy steps, about 10 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: lower jaw.
Step 1: Lower jaw
In the middle of your paper draw the bottom jaw: a flat line with a bowl curve under it.
Step 2: Upper jaw and mouth
Above, draw the top jaw: an upside-down bowl on a flat line. From each corner, join to the bottom jaw.
Step 3: Googly eyes
On top of the upper jaw draw 2 big round googly eyes, each with a big black dot.
Step 4: Top teeth
Hanging from the top jaw draw a row of 5 square teeth, each touching the next.
Step 5: Bottom teeth
Standing up from the lower jaw draw 4 shorter square teeth, tucked between the top ones.
Step 6: Two feet
Under the lower jaw draw 2 little shoes, toes pointing out to the sides.
Step 7: Wind-up key
From the lower jaw's right side draw a bar ending in 2 loops, one up, one down, like an 8.
Step 8: Chatter marks
On the left draw 3 short dashes beside the mouth. That shows the teeth chattering.
Step 9: Ground line
Start near the left edge. Draw a straight ground line under the shoes and stop near the right edge.
Step 10: Two sparkles
Draw 2 little 4-point sparkles up in the top corners, away from the toy.
Step 11: Pink jaws, yellow sparkles
Go over your lines, then colour both jaws pink and the sparkles yellow. Leave the teeth and eyes white.
Step 12: Red shoes, grey key
Colour the shoes red and the key grey.
Step 13: Dark mouth
Colour the inside of the mouth dark grey, around the teeth. Your chattering teeth are done!
